Help Us Make the 2027 ANWG Conference a Great Success

A smooth conference is the result of many helping hands. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities in several different areas and at a variety of times. Here is a brief description of different ways to help.

  • Registration/Information Desks – Be the face of customer service to the attendees. Help them check in, answer questions or provide assistance and directions. Great for people who enjoy interacting with others.
  • Displays – Hands on help for exhibits and booths. This includes set up, monitoring and breakdown activities. Some physical effort is required here such as lifting and moving. If you like moving around this is the category for you.
  • Events and Shows – The fashion show, the local excursions, towel exchange and the banquet are busy activities with lots of moving parts. Help here includes models and dressers, ticket takers, hosts and contribution collectors. A very social way of helping out.
  • Help as needed – Jacks and Jills of all trades, this is the spot for you! Tell us when you are available and we will keep you busy as opportunities come up.
  • Logistics behind the scenes – Assist attendees with loading in/out for workshops, traffic control at loading area, Some physical effort here including lifting, carting, positioning etc.
  • Workshops and Seminars – Our many learning opportunities and teachers need some assistance. Many opportunities to help the sessions get off to a smooth startvia fee collection, handing out materials and being a spare set of hands for a busy instructor. There are also some requests for people with very specific skills. A good way to build a closer relationship with our talented instructors.
