Would you like to learn to weave?
Portland Handweaver’s Guild is offering an opportunity to learn to weave – for free – at our conference June 14 – 19, 2027. This class is tailor-made for beginners – people who have never woven before. If you’re picked, we’ll sponsor your attendance at the conference and provide everything you need to start weaving on a table loom. You’ll only be responsible for getting to Portland, lodging and most meals.
The 2027 Association of Northwest Weavers (ANWG) conference is a six day extravaganza of everything weaving. Juried competitions of handwoven items and clothing, fashion shows of handwoven garments, dozens of vendors selling wonderful yarns and supplies, a towel exchange and a chance to meet hundreds of weavers of all stripes.
