Welcome to the ANWG Conference
June 14-19, 2027
The Portland Handweavers Guild is hosting the ANWG 2027 Conference. The Holiday Inn – Columbia Riverfront has been booked. The conference will be packed with exciting workshops and sessions on all aspects of fiber arts including weaving, spinning, basketry, sewing, felting, dyeing and other related fiber arts, including traditional and new/emerging/innovative techniques.
Awards will be given out in a variety of categories for the fashion show, and the juried and open shows and guild booths. Some of these are funded by the committee itself from conference proceeds, but many are sponsored by guilds and individual members. If you’d like to help by sponsoring an award we are now accepting applications to sponsor awards at next year’s conference.
Would you like to volunteer or share your ideas for the conference? We’d love to hear from you or answer any questions you might have. We still have slots open on the committee and will be looking for help with the juried, open, and instructor shows, and more.
We’re thrilled to be bringing the conference to Portland, and we hope to see you in 2027.
