Description: Go beyond plain weave and double the fun with plain weave on two layers to create a double-wide cloth or a tube. The class starts with a presentation on double weave, warping and threading both heddles and two pick-up sticks. After learning how to weave double width, you’ll start on a tube bag that we will finish on day two.

Supplies that students will bring:
- Rigid Heddle Loom 12″ or wider with full warping equipment.
- Heddle block to hold 2 heddles and two heddles (size 7.5, 8 or 10) from the SAME manufacturers.
- 2 stick shuttles and 2 Pick Up sticks, plus one extra of either one.
- Dowl for Heddle Rod
- Yarns in 2 high contrasting colors (no black, white or variegated (specifics to come).

Materials Included: Folder with extensive color handouts (15+ pages) string heddle yarn, rubber bands, and painter’s tape.
