Description: This 3-day online workshop introduces participants to the history, structure, and common motifs of krokbragd. Debby Greenlaw, author of Krokbragd: How to Design & Weave and Krokbragd Patterns, offers guidance on choosing colors and yarns, managing selvages, and finishing techniques. Attendees will weave a krokbragd sampler during the workshop. The finale showcases inspirational pieces and guidance on planning and designing projects. It is a fun-filled 3 days!
Participants should have basic weaving skills, including winding a warp and dressing a loom. If weaving on a rigid heddle loom, this includes using a pick-up stick or double heddles.

Supplies that students will bring:
– A loom with a minimum of 3 shafts or the ability to make three different sheds: floor loom, table loom, or rigid heddle with two pick-up sticks, one pick-up stick and heddle rod, or two heddles.– warp yarn, recommended 8/4 cotton or 10/2 cotton-5 colors of weft yarn (roughly 80 yards of each color will be sufficient)-3 boat or stick shuttles and 5 bobbins-usual weaving tools/supplies
