The ANWG 2027 Conference Committee is issuing a second call for Instructors for the 2027 Conference! We are expanding the potential for an online aspect to the conference where conference participants may attend classes and conference events virtually through Zoom. We hope this attracts BOTH participants who are not able to attend in person AND online instructors who may not be available to teach in Portland. This call for instructors is for online instructors only. Instructors experienced in online teaching are sought. As in the original call for instructors, we are seeking proposals for 1, 2 and 3 day workshops as well as proposals for 3 hour seminars.
We invite proposals covering a wide range of fiber arts including weaving, spinning, basketry, sewing, felting, dyeing and other related fiber arts. Both traditional and new/emerging/innovative techniques are sought.
The deadline for online instructor applications and online session proposals is June 30, 2027. Late entries will be reviewed after the initial submissions have been processed, and acceptance will depend on space, suitability, and uniqueness.
