And what a beauty! Our thanks to Shari Elliff, a member of the Olympia Weavers Guild, for the design. It incorporates the conference theme in a couple ways – in both text and graphics, with the large image of the St. Johns Bridge, one of Portland’s most iconic bridges. Opened in 1931, it’s the only suspension bridge in the Willamette valley, and at 400 feet it’s the tallest of the Portland bridges.
Work continues on the conference, and we’re happy to report that instructors and sessions have been selected, and instructors have all signed on. We also have a keynote speaker and fashion show judge, and are working to get a juror on board for the Juried show. You’ll start hearing about these folks next month with a series of blog posts about the names and faces you’ll see at the conference.
Things are starting to take shape, and we’re getting excited. We hope you are too!
