Session: Double Weave on a Point Threading

Description:Block double weave is great, but suppose you want to weave triangles rather than rectangles? Extending our double weave repertoire to a point threading opens up all sorts of design possibilities. We can not only create patterns based on diagonals, such as triangles, diamonds and zigzags, but we can use the same principles to introduce curves and circles. In this session we will look in detail at the options for threading the loom, tying up treadles and working with liftplans in order to make the most of the shafts we have available. This class is suitable for weavers with access to 8 shafts or more.
