Description: Shadow Weave is a subset of color-and-weave; and it is related to many techniques, other structures, and contrivances in weaving,. This sometimes makes it feel unattainable. If we take it one characteristic or method at a time we are able to traverse the many pathways it offers.

Supplies that students will bring:
- A 4, 6, or 8 shaft loom warped according to pre-workshop instructions and drafts, and be aware there will be absolutely no time for warping during the workshop.
- Two colors of 10/2 cotton yarn that are fairly high in contrast of value.
- Enough yarn to share with others for weaving on their loom.
- Two shuttles and two bobbins.
- Other items to bring may include: additional bobbins, extra shuttles, the usual workshop equipment, scissors, tags or tape for marking samples, header material or yarn to divide your samples, loom too.

Materials Included: Three-ring binder filled with colorful handouts, all the drafts prepared for the workshop, page protectors to hold samples, and a jump drive with .wif files.
