Description: Join Kathleen as she speaks about her personal journey with shibori. Through her slide presentation and many woven pieces, she will discuss the rich history of this art form. Techniques of traditional shibori and woven shibori will be demonstrated. Although the lecture/discussion will focus upon her own discoveries with these dyeing and weaving structures, it is hoped that participants will gain an appreciation and new understanding of this beautiful art form.
