Rebecca Smith explores ways to make light an element of her woven art. Rebecca’s weaving career began in Massachusetts, but she has lived and worked in her home studio in San Diego since 1996. Her work has been included in juried exhibitions throughout the U.S. She is a juried member of California Fibers, a group of professional fiber artists and a Board member and active leader of the San Diego Creative Weavers’ Guild. Rebecca has taught workshops at Convergence, at many regional conferences, as well as at guilds.
