Kris Leet has been a weaver, teacher, and researcher for over 50 years. She is the co-author, with Linda Malan, of the Willful Pursuit of Complexity: Rediscovering the Vacant-Hole Technique, which led to her current obsession, the textile archaeology of Iron Age Europes. She has authored a number of articles, taught classes, and given numerous presentations on archaeological textiles, the cultural context in which they are found, and what modern weavers can learn from those that that came before.
