In this project-oriented workshop you’ll learn how to work with thin and even layers of fine merino wool. You’ll learn how to blend the colors and the silk fiber in the wool before felting. You will study and explore how varying the staple directions of the fiber and the thicknesses of the layers of wool affects the shrinkage rates and provides us with control in shaping the scarf. You’ll also learn about even edge finishing techniques.
