Time to enter the conference shows

Question: If I bring my lamb to the ANWG Conference, will there be enough there to keep him entertained so that I can weave, think about weaving, and socialize?

Answer: With four exciting shows, anyone and their lamb can stay occupied for days at an ANWG conference.

The conference mounts four shows to remind us of the limitless possibilities of fiber art and craft. The Instructor Show brings together the work of the conference instructors. The three other shows are filled with work made by ANWG Affiliate Guild Members (this means you, dear reader).

The conference shows serve two purposes

  1. Shows put guild members’ work before a regional audience. All ANWG members can enter the shows whether or not they attend the conference.
  2. Shows amplify the conference buzz. Every item gives conference attendees more to consider, more to stretch their imaginations.

Like all weaving and spinning guilds, ANWG depends on member participation to enhance the programs and person to person interactions. The more we participate, the bigger the shows, and the more conference attendees and their lambs stay out of trouble. Take a good look at your recent work and consider it for entry in an ANWG 2025 show. There is still time.
