Sponsorship Opportunities

There are many sponsorship opportunities available for the 2025 ANWG Conference. We will gratefully acknowledge all contributions in our conference brochure, with signage and from the podium. Keeping in mind that we anticipate 500 registrants for the conference, perhaps one of these suggestions fits your marketing budget:

Major Contributions:
• Coffee and Snack Sponsor: A donation of any size to cover or offset one of our ten conference coffee and snack breaks. Students love their coffee! A single coffee and snack break constitute a $4,000 value, though we are happy to combine sponsors for any single coffee break.
• Fashion Show sponsor: Our opening night fashion show will be accompanied by a dessert plate. The cost of the dessert will be $10 per plate ($5,000 total). The show will include prizes for the winning entries, a $250-dollar value.
• Barbeque and “Shop till you Drop”: We plan to enjoy a small outdoor barbeque to kick off our shopping event on Friday evening. A meal sponsor would be wonderful, and gratefully acknowledged. Price: TBD.

Door Prize Ideas:
• A weaving kit: A towel, runner or placemat kit would be much appreciated.
• A weaving or knitting tool: Perhaps a Niddy Noddy, a shuttle, sley hook, a set of bobbins, etc.
• A skein of yarn, or a small cone of 8/2 cotton.
• A roll of Texsolv.
• A pair of knitting needles, stitch holders, pattern book.
• A color card from one of your favorite lines. This might include an individual color card for a door prize (a 25.00 value).
• A discount coupon from your company as a door prize.

Conference Bag Contents:
• A small value store coupon for our conference bags (500 total). (We fiber folks always spend more than the coupon value!).
• A conference bag item—a stitch marker, tapestry needle, sley hook, t-pins, ruler, etc. marked with your company contact information.
• A brochure introducing your business and products for our conference bags.

No matter the monetary value, we deeply appreciate your help in supporting our conference. We are doing everything we can to educate and grow our industry, while sharing our love of fiber arts with others. If you’d like more information contact Bette Nordberg or Deb Staehle at conferencechair@anwgconference.org. You may contact our treasurer, Angelique Penaflor, at treasurer@anwgconference.org for information on financial donations. Seattle Weavers Guild, the conference sponsor, is a not-for-profit organization.
