Are you ready to design a block and even develop your own weave? Then this seminar may be for you! Dr. William Bateman developed a collection of weaves that have inspired weavers for decades. However, what many are unaware of is the Bateman weaves are extensions of existing weaves and their blocks. In this seminar, participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of Bateman Weaves and some innovative ideas Dr. Bateman experimented in his weaving. Then, using this as inspiration, participants will explore methods for defining and redefining blocks that can be transformed into new weaves.
