Well, it’s been months in the planning, but now we’re finally here! Yakima! Many have already checked in, and it’s been nice to see people we haven’t seen since Bend, or perhaps have only seen on Zoom.
If you haven’t checked in yet you’ll find the registration desk right across from the main entry to the convention center. The new Map page will give you the overall layout.
Just a couple reminders:
- There is no food or drink available in the convention center, and no outside food or drink allowed in the convention center. Check out the Eat and Drink Nearby page for some options, and enjoy your morning coffee in your hotel.
- The convention center opens at 8:00 AM, and you’ll be able to check in starting then.
- On Monday the workshops will start at 10:00 AM, but just on Monday. Starting Tuesday workshops will start at 9:00 AM.
We’ve also created a couple new email addresses. If you have photos from the conference that you’d like to share you can send them to photos@anwgconference.org. We’ll start a photo gallery so folks can see all the fun and learning going on here. And, if you have suggestions or feedback you can email feedback@anwgconference.org. We’d love to hear how you think we did.
Conference Hours
8:00 am – 5:30 pm
- Conference services open at 8:00 am.
- Load in will take place on the West side of the building facing the Red Lion Inn. Volunteers will direct traffic through the loading area and help with load in.
- In the evening, the Convention Center will be cleared and locked. Workshop equipment can be stored on site.
Info Desk
8:00 – 5:00 pm Whether you are a weaver, a tourist, a volunteer, or a wagon, the Information Desk in Lobby 3 is the place to be!
- Volunteers check in here. Pick up volunteer aprons.
- New volunteer opportunities will be available.
- Carts and Wagons are available for loan.
- Find Yakima area information.
- Find your lost things at the Lost and Found.
- First Aid Station.
