Lynn McEachern

Since being retired from paid work, Lynn has been exploring her creative, artistic interests in the Fibre Arts areas of Weaving and Quilting. She has completed the Master Weaver Program at Olds College, in Alberta, Canada and teaches weaving, quilting and other fibre arts skills regularly in both Canada and the US.

Her educational background includes a B.Sc.(Home Economics) Degree from the University of Alberta and a Computer Systems Technical diploma from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. She worked 20+ years in the education field as an IT Programmer/Systems Analyst and Educator, followed by 20+ years in financial / book keeping / accounting positions. Throughout all of her work experience, she found time to be creative within the realm of Fibre Arts. She regularly states “To me, being creative isn’t just something I do; it is a part of my being. I am constantly learning new things.”

These days you can find Lynn in her happy place, sitting at her loom, or dying yarn or playing with her 7 year old grandson.
