Come learn the age-old technique of trichinopoly and walk away with your own finished charm bracelet. Trichinopoly is done by looping and weaving wire around a dowel and then pulling the wire tube created through a draw plate to condense the tube down to the desired thinness. The finished piece resembles the look of knitting.
In this class we will explore a brief history of the craft, the tools needed, and the many possibilities of creating beautiful jewelry with this fun technique. Then we will get down to business making a single knit bracelet with a charm attached.
