Michael Kelson (he/him/his) is the coordinator for the annual Men’s Fall Knitting Retreat and the Seattle Men Who Knit meet-up. His methodical, sample-based approach to spinning instruction resonates with students of all levels. Michael has taught spinning classes at fiber festivals across the country including Madrona, Columbia Gorge Fiber Festival, NWRSA Conference, Black Sheep Gathering, Fiber Fusion, Ply Away, and Red Alder.
By day he is a software engineering professional, but on weekends he’s usually out and about with his miniSpinner in tow.
The best compliment he ever received from a student was, “I learned stuff I didn’t even know I needed to know!”
