Weaving, embroidery, beading. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Description<\/strong>: The highlight out of many workshops I attended was “Unique clothing using freestyle. Knitting and crochet.” By making small modules and putting them together. The possibilities are endlessly-open for creativity. Some time ago my friend Heather (due to health reason) was unable to use her modules and gifted them to me. This gave me the idea to use hers and my modules combined with di\ufb00erent ideas to create a kimono jacket. This upcycling of the original work from more than one workshop gave me lots of pleasure. It was a challenge to combine all the techniques and make something that really “glows”. I am very happy to put this work to a final “stand-out” piece. It truly is a “collaboration” which is something that can happens when surrounded by a weaver “guild community”. The whole project took me one year to finish.
