Woven Structure:<\/strong> It is an 24 shaft advancing twill pattern woven on the 40 shaft AVL. Shafts 25 & 26 were used to mimic a floating selvage.
Yarn Details and SETT: <\/strong>The warp is 20\/2 tencel sett and 33 EPI.The weft is 20\/2 cotton.

Textile Finishing:<\/strong> The shawl was hand washed, air dried, and ran through a hot mangle to finish.
Textile Challenges:<\/strong> Finding fine yarn is a challenge. I stocked up on white 20\/2 tencel a while back. Thankfully, Lunatic Fringe Yarns has a wonderful selection of colors in 20\/2 cotton. While the garment is not as soft as it would be using 100% tencel, using 20\/2 cotton works for those of us who do not regularly dye yarn.
