Charan Sachar is an artist whose work reflects his passion for the fiber arts. He uses his adventures in knitting, spinning, weaving and quilting to inspire his clay work. In all the fields that he works in, he loves to accept challenges and approaches the making with a \u201cwhat if…\u201d attitude. Charan specializes in creating art yarns with textures. He takes traditional spinning techniques and pushes them an extra step to create unique yarns. As a teacher, he shares his techniques and what he has learned along his journey, but also encourages his students to try techniques\/materials and then decide for themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
