This is the closest winery to the convention, and they offer up some great wines! A complimentary tasting card (will be included in your goodie bag\/is available at the Chamber of Commerce)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

YAKIMA GREENWAY<\/strong> – https:\/\/www.yakimagreenway.org\/<\/a> 0.5 miles \/ 2 minutes
Spanning from Naches all the way to Union Gap, the Yakima Greenway boasts more than 20 miles of paved pathway, as well as parks, fishing lakes, picnic areas, playgrounds, and river access landings, along with protected and natural areas. Head East under I82 to access the closest part of the trail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stroll through 46 acres of lawn, forest and flowers. Admission is free, but don\u2019t forget the gift shop! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Local museum of natural history, American Indian and pioneer artifacts, early industry and more. Admission $8 or less, open Tuesday-Saturday, 10-5<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Need to walk and unwind? Gilbert park has a Labyrinth set amidst 11 acres of rolling hills and trees. No sports fields! This park is \u201cintended for passive users.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

McALLISTER MUSEUM OF AVIATION<\/strong> – https:\/\/mcallistermuseum.org\/<\/a> 4 miles \/ 11 minutes
The McAllister Museum of Aviation is the leading preservationist and educator of aviation history in Central Washington, with 55 displays, 10,000 artifacts, 7 engines and 2 planes. Admission $5, open Thursday-Saturday, 11-3<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UNION GAP OLD TOWN DAYS AND CIVIL WAR REENACTMENT AND LIVING HISTORY CAMPS<\/strong> – https:\/\/www.visituniongap.com\/old-town-days-union-gap.php<\/a> 4 miles \/ 7 minutes 
So maybe you want to come a day early and immerse yourself in history. The largest event of its kind in the state! June 14-15 Free Admission and Free Parking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Yakama Nation Cultural Center Campus includes the Yakama Nation Library<\/a>, Yakama Nation Museum<\/a>, Yakama Nation Cultural Center Gift Shop<\/a>, Heritage Theater<\/a>, and the iconic Winter Lodge. Open seven days a week. Admission $6 or less.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhere the West Still Lives in the City of Murals and Museums\u201d. 81 murals adorn the buildings of this town, best seen in a part walking part driving tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1399 S 48th Ave. Did you bring your fur baby along? This is the only off leash park. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

DOWNTOWN YAKIMA FARMER\u2019S MARKET<\/strong> – https:\/\/downtownyakimafarmersmarket.com<\/a> \/ 0.7 miles\/3 minute drive\/16 minute walk
15 West Yakima Avenue, between First Street and Front Street. When the Conference is over, don\u2019t scurry away. Visit the Farmer\u2019s Makret on Sunday! The Market is intended to provide an outlet for Washington State\u2019s farmers, specialty food producers, artisan & craft makers, food preparers, and entertainers (buskers) to directly sell their foods and handcrafted products. Sunday 9-1<\/p>\n\n\n\n
