Description: This scarf is an homage to one of my husband’s favorite places, a beach in Portugal where he befriended the local fishermen. Revisiting it last year, I took many photos of the colors of the water crashing into the golden sand beach and the interplay of light. My intention was to evoke the movement of color in the waves and the beach in both my dyeing and the weave structure itself.
