Textile Finishing: The fabric was wet finished.

Garment Construction: The garment is flat-felt seamed throughout to fully enclose the raw edges of the fabric
Lining: To cut down on the bulk of the zipper and pocket edges, 100% cotton twill tape was used to enclose these seams.
Special Features: The jacket has a full length zipper in the front.
Pattern: Although I did not use a published pattern, I would like to credit Weathertop Weavers, Silverton, Colorado for the inspiration in creating the pattern for this jacket.
Garment Challenges: When I warped the loom, I had a different idea for using the fabric. Then I began to see the fabric as a jacket and you are seeing the final form. Because the yarn was bulky, creating the flat-felled seams to fully enclose the raw edges of the fabric was was challenging, and required many, many hours of basting before doing the final stitching.
