Textile Challenges: This had become the dog on the loom. It was the third project on this warp, and the first two were only moderately successful. The warp, being fairly closely sett and wool, tended to stick. I was tired of it. I decided to weave it off as yardage, and figure out what to do with it later, perhaps much later.
Garment Construction: Draping on a dress form. I cut the front opening and a neck hole, and then tailored it by draping it. I cut away a bit at the shoulders to shape them, then a bit at the sides to form arm openings. The sides have in-seam inside pockets. I took the pattern for the lining from the garment pieces after my bits of trimming the shoulders and sides.
Lining: Commercial navy wool fabric for the facings and collar; commercial fabric for the lining.

Pattern: No pattern, just draping
