Textile Finishing:
The shawl was hand washed, air dried, and ran through a hot mangle to finish.
Textile Challenges: Finding fine yarn is a challenge. I stocked up on white 20/2 tencel a while back. Thankfully, Lunatic Fringe Yarns has a wonderful selection of colors in 20/2 cotton. While the garment is not as soft as it would be using 100% tencel, using 20/2 cotton works for those of us who do not regularly dye yarn.
