The conference is over, and we’re all back home, back to our normal routine. But before the memory of our time in Yakima fades completely we’d like to know how we did. What did you think of this year’s gathering? How were the workshops and seminars? Did you get inspired by the entries in the juried and open shows? Your feedback will help the next conference committee when they start to plan for 2027. This short survey should only take a couple minutes to fill out, and your responses are greatly appreciated.
And if you didn’t join us this year, we want to hear from you, too! Why did you stay home? Was it too expensive? Bad timing? Not wild about Yakima? Again, knowing why you didn’t join us is valuable information that will help those working on future conferences. And this survey is even shorter – only 3 questions! We hope you’ll take a minute to respond.
The results of both surveys will be posted here next month, in case you’re interested.
Me, I had a great time, and learned a lot. Rigid heddle weaving with 2 heddles finally makes sense. (Thanks, Heidi!) And I can’t wait to do more rep weave. (Thanks, Lois.) And I heard similar enthusiastic comments from others. It was wonderful to see old friends from Bend, and make new ones, too. Sure, the shows and exhibits were inspiring, but it’s the people and the community that make a fiber gathering special. If you couldn’t join us this time around I hope you’ll be able to make it to the next one.
P.S. In case you hadn’t noticed, there’s a photo gallery of pictures from the conference on the website. And photos from the fashion, juried, and open shows as well as the guild booths. Enjoy!
