Material & Technique: It is an original design using an advancing and decreasing twill in both the threading and treadling with a twill tie-up. The yarn is tencel and it is woven on an 8 shaft Schacht baby wolf loom.
Description: I had cones of yarns in the conference colors sitting on my counter for a while, trying to design a draft which would incorporate the various colors. But most of the ones I created felt too busy with all the color changes. Looking at the cones lined up next to each other, I liked the solid look of each color on its own, so I decided to come up with a draft that used them as separate ribbons of color while incorporating a pattern which connected them.
