Description: I was inspired by a beautiful green-brown yarn found at the South East Seattle Senior Center’s weaving studio and decided to weave a simple pattern to make it the star. Just a few weeks prior, I had experimented with Ephrata pattern (Davison: A Handweaver’s pattern Book; Patrick: The Weaver’s Idea Book) and enjoyed how plain weave looks and feels like when you use some spacing and apply light felting.
