Please give some thought to entering as it is always exciting to see new weavers and spinners participate.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some of the criteria for entering:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Limit 1 entry per person or group.<\/li>\n<li>If more than one person is collaborating on a single item, all parties must be acknowledged.<\/li>\n<li>Items must be original and have been completed within the last 2 years.<\/li>\n<li>Sorry, but we will not be accepting knitted or crocheted items.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Acceptable items are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Items made from handwoven fabric<\/li>\n<li>Handwoven yardage<\/li>\n<li>Handspun skeins<\/li>\n<li>Items made from handspun yarn, woven or felted<\/li>\n<li>Felted items<\/li>\n<li>Hand dyed items<\/li>\n<li>Basketry, Inkle and tablet weaving, kumihimo braids.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Entries will be accepted for the open show from March 1, 2023 through May 1, 2023. ** Subject to conditions at the time.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/anwgconference.org\/archive\/2023\/\/open-show-exhibit\/\">Click here for\u00a0more information<\/a>. We look forward to seeing your work!<\/p>\n<p>The juried show is chaired by Cindy Fowler.<\/p>\n<p>Now\u2019s the time to start thinking about that incredible item you are going to submit to the juried show. From past conferences, we know that there are exceptional fiber artists in the Northwest and this is the perfect venue for you to showcase your work. Our theme is Fiber Connections which reads: \u201cFiber Connections celebrates all the connections that are made as a result of the coming together of fibers and people\u201d. Show us what that means to you!<\/p>\n<p>Here are some things to consider:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Entries will be accepted between January 15, 2023 and May 1, 2023 ** Subject to conditions at the time<\/li>\n<li>Twenty-four awards will be given<\/li>\n<li>Entry fee per item is $10.00 US and must accompany the entry<\/li>\n<li>There are 18 categories to choose from in weaving, spinning and the \u201cever-popular \u2018Other\u2019 category\u201d so you have no excuse!<\/li>\n<li>All items must be original and have been completed within the past 2 years<\/li>\n<li>Collaborations are accepted<\/li>\n<li>Photos must be submitted via email in JPG format.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additional information is available on the juried show information page.
