Weaving is part of textile production \u2013 it can be the result of using fibers spun from animal, vegetable, or mineral; or it can be one of several inputs to making other items like clothing.\u00a0 Weaving has been part of human civilization for centuries, connecting us with our past.\u00a0 We weave for our families and friends, connecting us socially.\u00a0 We weave for sale, connecting us with clients.\u00a0 We weave for fun to connect with our inner child, and we weave to connect with our creative selves.\u00a0Without fiber connections you would have no spun yarn, no weaving, no felting, no braiding, and no wonderful fiber arts guilds to bring us all together.
