Here\u2019s an opportunity to enjoy all those precious fabric scraps you\u2019ve been saving by making a useful and beautiful drawstring bag! Using Judilee\u2019s stash of vintage fabrics and kimono silks, as well as whatever handwoven samples, project leftovers, or beloved scraps you\u2019d like to transform, you\u2019ll construct a four-sided drawstring bag completely unique to you. You\u2019ll learn seam options to stabilize handwoven fabrics, methods for piecing scraps into larger fabric blocks, how to insert a lining and sew a casing, charming drawstringfinishes, and embroidered embellishment techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All necessary patterns and materials will be provided. Students are encouraged to bring fabric scraps they would like to use and enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
