Individual Cancellations
The Conference Committee understands that unanticipated events are a fact of life and plans may need to change. The Committee has tried to balance the needs of individuals with the obligations of the Conference through the following Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations received on or before April 10: Individuals who have purchased a Conference Package or workshop may cancel and receive a refund LESS a $50 processing fee. The deadline to cancel and be eligible for a refund is 11:59 PM Pacific Time on Monday, April 10, 2023. Cancellations are processed by the conference registrar. To request a cancellation please send an email to her at registrar@anwgconference2023.com.
Cancellations received after April 10: After April 10 individuals who have purchased a Conference Package, workshop, seminar or any evening event are no longer eligible for a refund. As a courtesy to other conference attendees please contact the Registrar immediately if you need to cancel so the seats can be made available to others.
Cancellation of the Conference
The Weaving Guilds of Oregon (WeGO), as host of the 2023 Conference of the Association of Northwest Weavers Guilds (Conference), reserves the right to cancel the conference if it deems it necessary. WeGO will refund registration fees, less the participants’ shares of any costs and deposits that cannot be recovered by the Conference. WeGO will not be responsible for airfare‚ hotel or other costs incurred by participants outside of Conference registration fees. No liability is assumed by WeGO for changes in program date‚ content‚ speakers‚ or venue.
WeGO does not assume liability whatsoever in the event this conference is canceled, rescheduled or postponed due to an unforeseen occurrence or circumstances or any other event that renders performance of this conference impracticable, illegal or impossible. For purposes of this clause, an unforeseen occurrence or circumstance shall include, but not be limited to: war, fire, labor strike, extreme weather, pandemic, or other emergency. If the Conference is canceled due to an unforeseen occurrence or circumstance as described in this paragraph, WeGO will refund Conference registration fees to participants, less the participants’ shares of any costs and deposits that cannot be recovered by the Conference.
Please note that speakers and topics are intended but circumstances beyond the control of conference organizers may necessitate substitutions, alterations or cancellations of the speakers and/or topics. As such, conference organizers reserve the right to alter or modify the speakers and/or topics if necessary, without any liability or consequences whatsoever. Any substitutions, alterations or cancellations will be reflected on the conference web site. Participants are free to accept the substitution, or choose an alternate from the offerings that remain available, at no additional charge to the participant.
Refunds will be made as a credit on the participant’s credit card, unless the participant and the conference organizers agree to an alternate arrangement.
