Turn a flat-woven tapestry into a three-dimensional basket using pulled warp techniques on a simple frame loom. Participants should be able to weave and shape a small 3” to 4” vessel in the workshop. A full color handout will aid in making more baskets at home.

Student supplies to bring: Simple loom capable of weaving a 12” high x 6” wide tapestry. Frame looms work well. Pre-warped loom (specific details emailed to students), needle nose pliers, paper-cutting scissors, one manila envelope to cut, ruler, pencil, one large, one medium blunt tipped tapestry needles, sewing thread in a neutral color.
Materials Fee: $15 includes weft and handout.
