This western red cedar bark basket begins with a twill woven base. The spokes are then twined using mellowed Northwest sweetgrass. Woven rows are also featured with cedar and bear grass. The striking cross-warp pattern is formed with narrow spokes and secured with twined wire. Anne easy lashed border finishes the piece. Preparation of cedar and bear grass will be discussed.
